What is Average?
Over the weekend I did a road trip with a friend. It was very spontaneous. I called her the day before saying I had been lent a car and I wanted to look for sunsets. She said yes. We need more people like this. Uncomplicated. Life is simple, and we humans take it, turn it upside down and drown it in superfluous issues.
There was a bit of everything: laughs, adventures, work and deep conversations.
There were several reflections coming along from this weekend, and I will leave you with some of the questions we asked each other:
What is required for someone to go from a stranger to a friend, to a good friend?
How would your day look like if you had to live the same day every day?
Do you think you are better than the average person?
Let’s get to the last question. It’s interesting and we had different answers for it. Saying you are better than average may be associated with an inflated ego and arrogance. When you say you are not, you may be trying to come out as humble or you are not confident of your capabilities. We had different answers. There is no right answer. Life is a temporary perception of what we choose to name reality. In each moment. Let’s look at it in its simplicity and choose to not overthink what we live. We are all different. Yet so equal.
